Script Pipeline

Connecting Screenwriters with the Industry Since 1999

For over 25 years, Script Pipeline has been a leading discovery platform for screenwriters and TV writers, linking them to top producers, managers, agents, and other execs. With a long-term, hands-on facilitation process, Script Pipeline has helped launch the careers of numerous writers, resulting so far in over $8 million in script sales and several studio films.

Contests & Development

Script Pipeline’s contests—including the Screenwriting, TV Writing, First Look Project, and Pitch Contests—focus on finding fresh, original voices in film and television. Writers receive career mentorship, direct industry introductions, personalized script development, and general guidance, ensuring their projects have the best chance in a highly competitive market.

Winning and finalist scripts have led to major studio sales and industry recognition, including:

  • Snow White and the Huntsman by Evan Daugherty (sold for $3.25M)
  • Stuber by Tripper Clancy (produced by 20th Century Fox)
  • Killing Season (starring Robert De Niro and John Travolta)
  • Bring Me Back by Crosby Selander (sold to Legendary for $2m+)
  • Visitation by Helen Gaughran (starring Olivia Cooke and Isla Johnston, releasing in 2026)
  • Getaway by Jamie Napoli & Joshua Paul Johnson (produced in 2024, directed by Jason Biggs)

Several Pipeline-discovered writers have signed with UTA, Bellevue, Kaplan/Perrone, Alibi Management, and other top management companies and agencies. Finalists and winners regularly land on The Black List, including the #1-ranked scripts Cauliflower (Daniel Jackson) and Pure (Catherine Schetina), and industry favorites Court 17 (Elad Ziv) and The End (Brian T. Arnold).

Script Pipeline Workshop

Beyond contests, the Script Pipeline Workshop offers tailored feedback from industry professionals with 5-20+ years of experience, helping writers refine their screenplays, pilots, short scripts, and pitches. Selected “Recommend” scripts receive direct circulation to managers, producers, and studios—one of the only notes services to provide circulation consideration.

Industry Impact

  • Over 20,000 screenplays and pilots reviewed annually.
  • Numerous script options, spec sales, and writers staffed on shows for Netflix, CBS, BET, and more.
  • Long-term career mentorship, with writers continuing to work with Script Pipeline years after their initial discovery.
  • “Family first” approach: writers aren’t treated as a name on a webpage, but as an integral part of a small group of Pipeline selections.
